This Guideline is intended to assist member bodies to prepare professional accountants to work in the information technology environment. Society expects professional accountants to perform their roles competently. To do so, professional accountants must demonstrate competence in the use of information technology and computer-based information systems. This Guideline describes knowledge and competencies required in the IT environment.
